The VWR 1300U Gravity Convection Oven offers efficient drying in a compact, space-saving footprint. Using gravity-directed heating, powders, and light samples can be dried or heated without being blown away by active air movement. This dependable drying oven features sturdy construction, a welded steel exterior, and a corrosive-resistant stainless interior sandwiched over 2″ fiberglass insulation. To protect samples and disperse energy, the heating elements are covered, eliminating the risk of a radiant hot spot. This lab oven is an ideal size for small work volumes and testing applications Inside this compact lab oven’s one cu ft interior is perforated shelving designed to let air flow freely for uniformity of ±6°C and can be easily adjusted in half-inch increments without the need for tools. This gravity convection oven has a temperature range between 40°C and 260°C, with a safety circuit breaker and independent bi-metal safety monitoring. The VWR gravity convection oven also has a 3-inch exhaust port with a sliding air dampener that can be opened to remove humidity from samples or shut for accurate temperature heating. 120 Volt, 5 amp operation Dims are 16x16x21 inches WxDxH outside, 12x12x12 inside. |
